Secondary SO LEGs

If you read the article titled SO LEGs then you know that LEGs is an acronym for Labor Executing Grunts. LEGs are hard working SEO tools that you only have to implement once and they keep on working for a long time. I thought I would follow up that post with a mention about Secondary SO LEGs.
Secondary SO LEGs are less obvious search optimization methods that most people would not normally consider SEO techniques. Maybe you remember reading my post: Your Content is Your Reputation, that will help lead you in the correct direction for this post. Your reputation is considered a secondary SEO tool and having a large respectable reputation would be considered having a Secondary SO LEG.
I understand that some of these methods may seem a bit out in left field for many people, but I assure you that they can dramatically affect your rankings. Do you believe that the search engines hold all the power when it comes to your rankings in the SERPs? They do hold a great deal of power, but the results are dependent on user activity. The internet is made up of webmasters and site visitors each making a mark on the internet landscape building links and writing content. Every click of the mouse is recorded and it can change everything.
Besides, SEO is no longer just ranking in the search engines. We are progressively gravitating to SO, Search or Site Optimization. Traffic originates from every corner of the internet, sometimes it comes from word of mouth and the visitor has typed your url directly into their address bar.
I know I got a bit off track there, but I want you to understand that even the smallest of things can change the flow of traffic online. This is where your Secondary SO LEGs come in. A Secondary SO LEG can be anything that builds your reputation, name brand, idea, or promotes your link(s). Being an active, knowledgeable, and helpful member of a popular support forum will build your reputation and create Secondary SO LEGs for you.
You could even go so far as to say that being a well known productive member of your offline community would constitute building Secondary SO LEGs. People support what they know and trust. When people know you and trust you, they communicate this to friends, family, and co-workers. All of this communication translates into Secondary SO LEGs.
Doing something positive and worthwhile can add a big boost to your rankings. Remember, traffic comes from everywhere, not just Google.
I understand this post is rather vague and really does not provide any details as how to create Secondary SO LEGs, but that is because your options are virtually endless. Just know that you represent your site and someone is always watching you. Your actions on and offline can bring you massive success or massive failure.

There is no single source for this information. The information in this post was accumulated over several years and from many different sources. By simply spending time with online communities and working with various websites the ideas of SO LEGs becomes more clear the more time you spend. SO LEGs are like any other part of SEO or SO in that it takes time to learn and time to implement.
